Dr. Ali Alkassoum is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Secretary  of the African Road Maintenance Funds Association (ARMFA). Based at the organisation’s headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, he leads continental efforts to advocate for sustainable financing, good governance and climate-resilient road infrastructure.

As CEO, he heads ARMFA, a non-profit association of Road Maintenance Funds across more than 30 African countries, promoting private-public partnerships and knowledge exchange.

Under his leadership, ARMFA has partnered with institutions like the African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute (AFRALTI) to integrate digital innovations into road maintenance and financing.
