An entrepreneur at heart, Mr. Dawson co-founded the RoadCare Group in 1986, developing a portfolio of companies specialising in road marking, traffic management, safety barriers, pavement products and high-visibility safety equipment. The business grew into a leading provider of road infrastructure services before its acquisition by a Swedish listed company.

Known for his strategic, forward-thinking approach and practical decision-making, Mr. Dawson continues to champion innovation, digitalisation and international collaboration to improve road safety and support the future of transport infrastructure.
