Lukas Ambühl is CEO and co-founder of Transcality, an ETH Zurich spin-off developing digital twins for transportation. He received a doctoral degree in traffic engineering from ETH Zurich, focusing on data-driven urban traffic analysis and simulation.

With over 20 publications and collaborations with institutions including UC Berkeley, the University of Lyon and NYU Abu Dhabi, he bridges academic research and real-world mobility implementation.

In this context, Transcality develops simulation-based digital twins that enable cities and infrastructure operators to test, evaluate and optimise mobility strategies before implementation.
