Pete is a professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in the ITS and traffic industry, both with consulting firms and with ITS software and hardware vendors.  

He is an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) expert with experience in a wide range of technical and management specialties including ramp metering, program and system management; Maintenance of Traffic (MOT); system integration; system procurement, software development; Connected Vehicle (C-V2X), LiDAR detection, electronic tolling; traffic signal timing and operations; traffic analysis and simulation modeling; infrastructure design (PS&E); systems engineering and project management. 

He holds a B.S. and M.S degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
