In 2025, the International Road Federation (IRF) is moving forward with renewed leadership and a strong sense of collective responsibility for the organisation’s future. The adoption of our Vision 2030 Strategy also provides a shared framework to guide our work, grounded in a simple principle: Roads are not just physical assets, but enablers of opportunity, safety and sustainable development.

Throughout the year we saw this direction take shape in practice. IRF brought together diverse voices across regions and disciplines, advanced trusted knowledge and data and supported real-world solutions that respond to the needs of countries at different stages of development.

We thank our members, partners, Board of Directors and Secretariat for their trust and commitment during this important year and we look forward to another productive year of working together.
